Andrey Vorobiev

Director of Product Management & Technology

Andrey Vorobiev is the Director of Product Management & Technology at ChartWorld. His responsibilities include overseeing ChartWorld’s overall product management and business development for all product lines in both ChartWorld and SevenCs.

Having graduated from Maritime Academy and served at sea as a Nautical Officer, Andrey transitioned to a career in digital navigation back in 1994. Leveraging his extensive maritime experience, he became the Chief Design Engineer of the world’s first ever type-approved ECDIS: NaviSailor 2400ECDIS.

Andrey has also obtained extensive experience in maritime industry sales, further enhancing his expertise in the field of navigation software product development.

Additionally, he has contributed to the development of international electronic navigation standards through his work with the International Hydrographic Organization and IEC.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Andrey has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience that continues to drive innovation and excellence in his work.
